Frida

We went for a picnic with friends today, accompanied by Frida. She went for a swim in a pond later on in the day and got a bit panicked.. she kept swimming in circles, not able to come towards us on the bank. After about ten minutes of this, a male swan who was protecting a female on the nest made a bee-line for Frida and started attacking her in the water. We were horrified and called out to Frida who looked like she might not survive the attack but luckily she decided at that point to come straight over to us and we hauled her back up onto the grass.
