Nature Diary... Sunset Scene

 After a violent thunderstorm and a tumultuous downpour last night, today dawned calmly innocent with sunshine lasting most of the day, and it was once again mild enough to have doors and windows wide open all day.

 The autumnal colours in the trees are gradually deepening and the sheep with their young lambs all seemed to be grazing contentedly, with the lambs occasionally playing a delightful game of hop, skip and chase.

Somewhere far distant some sort of matter of apparent importance to do with a subject called 'Politics' was finalised, but the Earth still kept spinning, the sun continued to shine, and the evening approached slowly with calmness and with dignity, bringing hope for another lovely day tomorrow.
