Having breakfast

I had had mine before taking this and was heading out to start preparations for getting the cattle in. Brought bales home from a nearby field and set up a row of them to act as a fence leading to the cowshed door, and did some cleaning, fixing and sorting things out in the shed and up in the old dryer where the mill is located. Also took some bales to a neighbour's stable.

The morning was properly frosty, with -5°C between 8 and 9 am. Even though the temperature rose 4-5 degrees above zero in the afternoon, places that were in shadow all day stayed frosty. The average temperature must have been below zero, as the above zero hours were so few and it's back down at -5 now at 9 pm.
