Waiting to board the train at Waterloo station to our next UK destination. Earlier, we took a walk through the Leake Street tunnel which runs for 300 metres below the Waterloo train station - it is London’s longest legal graffiti wall. The art work was impressive and eye catching.

Waterloo Station, London.
From the networkrail website
Waterloo Station opened in 1884.
In 1860, 1878 and 1885 there were expansions bringing the total number of platforms to eighteen.
Permission was given in 1899 to rebuild the station. This took twenty years.
1994 the terminus for Eurostar services running through the new Channel Tunnel was opened. Later, in 2007 the international terminus was moved to St Pancras.
