Women's rights

We spent the afternoon at Tunbridge Wells museum learning about women's roles and rights and how this has changed through the years. The new workshop coordinator, Jeremy, did a fantastic job of engaging the children and surviving his first workshop with 25 children aged from 5 up to 16 all asking questions relevant to their stage of learning. They definitely kept him on his toes in terms of depth of knowledge and therefore depth of response required and he managed brilliantly.

The girls produced some lovely posters 'advertising' roles then and now, and showing what they understood to be the rights & roles of women now.
