End of Another Mission

This was the end of Mission 27, our 27th visit to Malawi; 8 years older and certainly feeling it, after a 30 hour trip. We left Mzuzu at 530AM on Friday and arrived in Dublin at 1130AM Saturday, after 5 flights. Lilongwe (Malawi) to Lumbasha (Congo) to Addis (Ethiopia) to Khartoum (Sudan) to Frankfurt (Germany) to Dublin. Strangely if you take the cheapest trip, you get the grand tour. *Last time we were in Khartoum, the pilot pointed out that the lights on our flight path were exploding tanks, no such excitement this time. The picture shows Mary with Craig, his mother and Stephen. Craig and Stephen are students of the school of computing in DIT and were on a 6 week placement as part of their 3rd year course work. They were amazing in the extent and content of their work. Just getting on with it and inspiring all those they worked with, including many of our own staff. Well done guys, come back soon.
