Sunbeams

On the way to Keswick sunbeams were hitting Bassenthwaite Lake.  I had never taken these before, so after setting the camera on my tripod, I settled down to take shots for a few minutes.  The beams were changing all the time, when I first noticed them they were singular, but they had 'clumped' together.  I liked the light striking the lake, making reflections too.  After about 20 minutes I continued to Keswick where, using the tripod, I took more photos of the landing stages including wildfowl.  It wasn't cold nor windy; a beautiful day in fact.
