Twenty

After work, I put the bins out and went to the gym. I hadn’t realised quite how warm it was outside until I left the house. It feels like we are heading for another heatwave. As I was walking down the street, I noticed that new 20mph signs seem to have appeared on the lampposts at the end of the street. I vaguely remember reading something about permitting increased speed limits on the main road but I can’t find any reference to it.
