Big sky

Had a few niggly things to deal with first thing (TFL, who charged 3x£10, instead of 2x to top up our Oysters. My darling bank, password probs. Anyway all in hand, and won’t bore you with details.

Mr B has itchy feet and decided to buy bread without me. We both then went for a brisk (snail’s pace by his standard) walk along the cliff-top - see blip. Lovely out, sunny with a refreshing breeze. Sad to see Red (one of the Bournemouth goats) in obvious distress. Was standing but unable to put pressure on his foreleg.

Called an acquaintance who knows the owners. She said, they already knew, they had extracted a thorn from his paw yesterday. They are keeping an eye on him. Hope he’ll be OK.

Invited up to P&G, who are back after a few weeks away). Had a catch up, and offered home baked focaccia and vegetable soup. Most welcome.

Not much else. Catching up with Rishi’s new team. I’m no expert, but they seem experienced, solid, and unifying appointments. Let’s hope so.
