Finally.

Every day for the last few weeks this very large solitary bee visits our garden. It feeds on our Salvia ‘Hot Lips’ then departs. It is quite recognisable as the same one but is always alone. I have tried to capture a shot each time I see it but it has been to quick for me until today.
