October Sunrise II

Back home to a familiar view, but on a stunning October morning. I should perhaps have gone out even earlier when the sky was still pink and watched the scene develop as the sun rose behind me.

It was the brilliant yellow/orange of the trees opposite that called me to go out. I grabbed the Sony because it's so light and compact and perhaps because I had been using it all week. But in hindsight maybe I should have made the effort and taken the Fuji.

I found it very difficult to balance the exposure and manage the blues. I'm still not 100% happy, but it will do. I also notice quite a lot of distortion of the buildings and reeds from the 16mm lens. I'll have a go at correcting it in PS at a later date.
