Birthday

MY bff turned 80 and we had a little celebration here.     We have a lot of history together, trips, celebrations, life events good and bad, happy and sad.  I’m lucky we can enjoy some old age together as well …
I thought I was  not that fond of making portraits but I'm finding more and more that I want to record these people in my books...I love to look back on them.   So guess I'll have to learn to pay a little attention to the new portrait masks in Lr. 
She brought me mashed potato soup  (!)  which we are about to eat before going to Fiona's choir concert.
