The long way back

Perth to Singapore and on to London, flight was massively delayed and one of the exit doors didn’t work in premium economy, so they declassified the cabin. They wanted to move us into economy and we refused. Lo and behold they managed to find two seats for us in Premium, still an ordeal but much more doable with a bigger chair!

We had the Cook Islands female rugby team on the plane, crew said they ate a massive amount they were having to bring food from other cabins to keep them going.

Max and I watched all of the latest Dexter series, which was good.

Staff on the plane were excellent and kept us fed and watered.

We had to wait for ages for our bags to come out. It was ridiculous. Anyway we finally got home at about 4 pm and managed to stay up until about nine.

Great to see Zebedee and Nat again!
