Ready for Duty

As you know, Frida qualified as a Pet Therapy dog with St John’s, which means she can visit Rest Homes with Jill. They haven’t been able to visit for ages due to COVID, but today the Dementia Unit welcomed them.
Jill reported that Frida was very popular. She would go and sit on a residents feet; rest her head in their lap so they could pat her; sat while they played skittles and cleaned up food from under their chairs!
I’m sure some of our friends would be amazed if they saw how well she behaves, when sometimes she is very energetic when they come to visit!

Frida started the day by escorting Jill and I up Mt Iron. I don’t walk up it much these days. Again, many people stopped to pat Frida. She is a very spoilt dog! The Three Parks Area is continuing to develop - so I’ve attached a photo for my records.

I’ve been busy completing an Oral History Abstract, and after dinner we will go and play Bridge with friends for a couple of hours.

I realised that I posted a Wide Wednesday photo on Tuesday ….silly me. Hope you enjoyed yesterdays photo anyway. Thank you for your kind remarks.
