Milkweed, etc.

A glorious, golden evening really lit up the colors. I ran outside to snap some photos before the light disappeared, and then couldn't decide which to blip. So, as I have plenty of remaining extras, I'm posting a bunch. 

After dark we took another walk around town. There are some fun Halloween paintings on the shop windows, but at least as many campaign signs in people's lawns as Halloween decorations. I'd say I'll be glad when the election's over, but I'm not at all sure I will be. In any event, a good day today.
