Rising light

Waiting for the ferry this morning and there was a lovely light behind the boat, itself lit up with a welcome. We're off South to see the newly weds, one of whom has a30th birthday this week :-)

The usual journey but we had an incident which delayed us. The side locker on the van hadn't locked properly so we lost our power cable on the initial part of the journey. Despite retracing our steps we were surprised not to find it and lost a good hour's journey time. A bit of a lesson in checking things are properly stowed!!  Plus serious pennies replacing it - thank goodness there's a suitable motorhome dealer we (nearly) pass - another extra. 

Anyway, as a result our usual dog walk at Faskally was closed to casual users for its big Enchanted Forest extravaganza (Pilochry was packed with people queuing for buses to get there).  The up side was that we found another good alternative just north of Bankfoot  - Berry had a great time scooting through fallen leaves which are her new best thing to chase. Nutter!

Made it to the campsite with 29 mins to spare - phew.
