Having a rest.

It was very busy at Leighton Moss bird reserve this morning.
That is because it is school half term this week.
I reckon there were about 15 school teachers per acre.

Unfortunately the hide, with the best chance of seeing a Bittern or the Long Tailed Duck which is visiting at present, had to be temporarily closed.

Fortuately the Coots were putting on a good show right in front of another hide.
These two were taking a break. But 30 of 40 others were swimming round and round in a big circle.

A friend is providing tea and cake this afternoon. Yummy.
