In Need Of A Pot Of Gold

My week off seemed to have done me good as I played my best round of golf in some time this morning, despite rather making a mess of the last two holes. There were still some Autumn colours to be seen as well as this faint rainbow beyond the 11th green.

Yeovil could definitely do with a pot of gold to buy a few new players and a manager judging by tonight’s woeful performance at home to Aldershot, which was a real low point of the season so far: we could have played all night and not scored! The players seem totally out of confidence, the manager’s formation and tactics, such as they are, aren’t working and he doesn’t seem to be able to change them or motivate the players at the moment. It didn’t help that a small but vocal group of fans took every opportunity to get on the players’ backs, which made for a very ugly atmosphere. Just hope that something happens to turn things around soon as the 2-0 defeat to two late goals left us in the relegation places.

I couldn’t find any Yeovil goalmouth action to take a blip of!
