Cluster

A cluster of fungi on a tree trunk in Pipers Wood near Hanbury. I went there because it is a beech wood , unusual in this area and usually with stunning autumn colours by now. Last year I was too late but this year I seem to be ahead of the best of the colour. I'll try again next week . Meanwhile there are some  interesting fungi on the decomposing wood.
