Thursday

Thursday has always been one of my favorite days of the week.

I call it Weekend eve.

This Thursday was extra fun.

First, there was the trip to the Nichols Hills Drug Store Fountain for a grilled cheese sandwich and a chocolate malt made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. The very best kind of chocolate malt.

Then there was our favorite park. Kite Park. Burying treasure with new friends.

Girl, as Eli called her, among them.

After that, it was the Science Museum where there is a Tree House, a Tornado room where you can experience winds up to 78 miles per hour, a Nasa Mercury capsule simulator, a planaterium and many other things.

To finish the afternoon, we went to a neat grocery store to pick up some food for a family whose mom is having surgery and took it another friend who was going to deliver it.

A very good Thursday. . .
