Orakei Basin

Orakei Basin is a tidal lagoon in a volcanic crater. Dogs often take their owners here for the 4km perimeter walk, but the track is also popular with joggers and cyclists. We’ve thought about kayaking here, but haven’t — you’ll often see waterskiing here though, and I have seen rowing races.

I am out and about today. Travelling has disrupted my otherwise regular blip routine. And I don’t know that I can blame the virus but I have been lacking inspiration recently.
