Bless me

This ruin of a Greek Orthodox chapel is located just inside the lower campus gate. It has been there since the time before the pasha donated this land to the school, and is from time to time the cause of wild rumours that Robert College students are forced to attend mass and encouraged to convert to Christianity.

The building itself still belongs to the Greek patriarchy, but the land on which it sits belongs to the school. Since the owners do not have the money to move it and/or have it restored, it is slowly crumbling away in situ. I wonder if anyone has bothered to have it deconsecrated...
