Family B

This morning we received an early SOS call - poor Mrs B had woken with a flare-up: painfully swollen knee and hand. Combined with being the size of a whale, she was begging for help. As we told her, that's why we moved up here. So we ended up LMB-sitting from 9am till her dad came home around 5pm.

We baked fairy cakes. There was no ready-mix box in stock so we made three times as many working from scratch. So LMB now knows about weighing, creaming butter and sugar, whisking in eggs and folding in (sieved) flour! We also iced them and sprinkled them with stars. (Apparently she's repeated the process in the bath tonight, using bubbles and telling her mum what went into the cakes.)

We also had a long walk round, with LMB on her scooter this afternoon, as it had stopped raining by then. (There's no wearing her out!)

And the picture above began with the centre figure: Mummy with Baby Brother in her tummy + (on the left) Daddy and (on the right) herself as "a big kid"! The proportions of her mum are quite accurate. Though she didn't have enough space for her own legs, they are there - just!

Tonight I hope to continue knitting the baby jumper, but not sure if I will raise the energy. Zzzzzzz....
