King’s

I went into Cambridge to meet my younger daughter for lunch. It was so lovely to have catch up . She’s going through a tough having to ‘temporarily’ close her tea rooms and bakery. Huge problems with getting staff and she exhausted working 18 hour days. I popped into Kings College beforehand and visited the chapel, which was relatively quiet and beautiful- as always outside the chapel has lot of scaffolding and Kings Parade is looking like building sites with so many shops etc with yet more scaffolding and protection boards. A good day, the rain soon passed this morning and the sun and blue skies reappeared.
