Swanning around

To Christchurch at lunchtime. 18C. Balmy weather for end October. Short wait for bus and soon there.

Headed for Bodega (Tapas bar, recently taken over by the adjacent popular pub). We were the only customers. It’s always struggled with midday trade, such a pity. Nothing really for vegans, ended up with boring old pan con tomates, and a pineapple juice. Mr B enjoyed a plate of freshly sliced Serrano ham & Estrellas. He declared it was excellent and well matured.

Wandered down to the ‘Quomps)*
*(Christchurch Quay is a popular attraction for all the family and comprises two main areas: The Quomps and Town Quay.

The Quomps is a flat, open, grassed area containing a splashpark and children's play area)

The swans were all out, a magnificent sight. Attracted by the families offering tit-bits. Perfect day for a relaxed stoll along the banks of the harbour.

Returned at around 4pm.
