River Kent

The river at Stavely was really gushing yesterday! So after today’s top up it will be set for winter I think.
My sister lives in Essex and when she got home on Wednesday she said that her garden was still as dry as ever. They live in a rain shadow east of London and north of the Thames, where it hasn’t really rained since the spring. It does make gardening a challenge!
