Ready for the chop

Quite a few of these Ash trees with very visible orange markings have been earmarked for removal. For nearly 30 years now Ash dieback has gradually strangled most of our native Ash trees.
(Hymenoscyphus fraxineus)
Ash dieback will kill around 80% of ash trees across the UK. It’s been forecast to cost billions to clear and the effects will be staggering. It will change the landscape forever and threaten many species which rely on ash.
Spotted during my 8+ mile evening run along the Tarka trail(extra), our much appreciated disused railway line.
