Tomato Sauce!

We have had the best harvest of tomatoes this year, all in the greenhouse.  I started them from seed back in April and wasn't sure how they would do!  

I have been going crazy consuming delicious ripe tomatoes for the past few months for breakfast, sliced onto a toasted bagel, with mayo....mmmm good!  We have had more than enough for me to throw them into lots of other lovely meals.   Then a week ago Alison, our lovely Belgian wwoofer, picked a huge amount of beautiful ripe tomatoes, we thought that was the end of them.....she reduced them down to make a simple sauce and into the freezer!   Today, as i walked to the studio, my eye caught something red in the greenhouse....omg, more ripe tomatoes!!!   So after finishing work i picked them all and now we have more delicious tomato sauce.   The house smells wonderful! there are still some green ones on the vine!!!

Off to town for a massage....oh did my body need that!
