That's the colour of this paint, a Dulux Heritage Velvet Matt, and its rightful place is on the ceiling of the last room for redecoration.  But I managed to drip the paint from the roller tray and it landed in a trail on the carpet.

But this is old carpet and it doesn't matter.  What matters (really matters!) is that I trailed it from the porch, through the front door, across the hall and up the stairs before laying it across the landing to this point – all flooring, some wood some carpet, about a year old.  It took over an hour to clear the mess, between two of us, but we think that we've managed to avoid having to replace anything.

¡Que idiota!  And no, I won't be carrying a loaded roller tray anywhere in the house again . . .
