If all else fails...

....look out the kitchen window for a blip.

The strong winds this week have dislodged most of the leaves from the trees, so more of the hills are visible.

The chap from a local gardening company who said he'd come and give me a quote for trimming some shrubs and hedges didn't turn up yesterday at the agreed time, or phone to rearrange. Grrr! In frustration I had a go with the secateurs myself this afternoon and managed to fill a wheelie bin.
