Leafminer

Saw these on Autumnwatch so on my walk today I found a few. They said that the black is poo and they exude a chemical to stop that part of the leaf from going brown. So interesting.
After I baked the sourdough we went to the garden centre to get a few plants for our sons grave and bulbs.
After coffee we went and tidied the grave and put the plants on looks better now 22 years Monday since we lost him.
I then went for a walk as far as the river.
This afternoon I have done nothing, we had our flu jab yesterday and I think it has affected me a bit, felt rotten and slept for a couple of hours. Feeling a bit better now.
Still very warm for the time of year
