Spot the feather

I've been stuck in front of my computer this week on a work assignment so was pleased to spend some time in the garden today. It was ridiculously warm for this time of year and quite sunny. I'm not sure what's going on with this bush. It looks as if it's taking on an autumnal colour but I fear it may be dying.
