watching dry paint

junkyard flowers

after today's effort, I'm starting not to recognise the season. Gray, mild and unreasonably dull for days on end. One token gorgeous Spring day yesterday, then back to somewhere else's weather: blowing a gale, warm and damp. Then it goes back to cold and wet again in a day or so.
No wonder these little opportunists have sprung up in amongst the weeds and junk. One lifeform's discomfort is another one's idea of paradise. This will be the way of the world moving forward.
