Changing times

First job this morning was to change the clocks away from British Summer time. We seem to have a lot of clocks. Most of them are quite straightforward to change, just a question of turning the hands back an hour. Giving the most pleasure is the antique bracket clock. I just stop the pendulum let time catch up with it and then start it up again. It has a little key to open the front, and I embroidered the key fob. With it in the photo is the big winder. I have to be very careful not to overwind.
Not so easy was the cooker clock! I am not sure why it is so difficult every time. I always get in a muddle and end up switching the cooker off at the wall and starting again from scratch! I still have to tackle the car click!
