Life through the lens...

Leeds Market

A trip into Leeds on the bus for the first time since July.
Unfortunately the first bus missed, but we only had to wait about 10mins for the next one.
Can’t believe how things have changed in only a few months. So many new high rise buildings being built near the city centre, and cranes everywhere.
City Square is being revamped, with lots of roadworks but traffic seemed to be moving OK.
The weather was still mild and we got home before the rain started.
Not much purchased. New socks for us both and some very cosy slippers/ boots for me.
Also bought some coriander, fresh ginger, green Thai curry paste, and Thai fish sauce from a great Chinese supermarket on Vicar Lane. Must remember to call here again.

We had a walk through the market on our way back to the bus station. Such a fascinating building which I haven’t photographed before.
It’s where M&S started as you can see in the photo.
I thought it was a suitable shot for today’s Wide Wednesday challenge ‘ structural/ geometrical. Many thanks to Steveng for hosting this week.
