WI meeting.

I was driver again for my friend Ann who had to visit a lovely country afternoon WI. From my seat I could see this vase of paper roses on the president’s table and behind her hung the banner of this one hundred year old WI. We enjoyed a talk about rewilding before Ann gave them her talk. There followed a magnificent tea, something we don’t have in my WI as we meet in the evening. It is not a pot of jam on the table, it is a small candle which they lit to remember several members who had passed away since their last meeting.
