The Lozarithm Lens

Woody Wednesday (2nd November 2022)

Rain held off this morning and Refna was busy planting more bulbs into pots, and raking leaves. These two massive whisky barrel tubs were bought in Chippenham yesterday. I wonder which distillery they come from? Legible on the base is "House Distil". It could be Dog House Distillery in London, Harley House Distillery in Seaford or Mill House Distillery in Cottingham? One of these tubs will replace the derelict tin drum I have blipped before and the other will be for the camellia when it needs repotting into a bigger tub.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Bob Dylan - She Belongs to Me (Live at Royal Albert Hall, London, UK - May 26, 1966)
Cat Power was on Woman's Hour this morning because she will be at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday (November 5th) performing in full Bob Dylan's full set there in 1966, including the electric second half with members of the Hawks (later the Band) which so divided the fans of the time. The famous cry of "Judas!" was uttered by a disgruntled former fan on this tour (long thought to have been at the Albert Hall because of a mislabelled bootleg, but actually at the Manchester Free Trade Hall). She Belongs To Me was the opening song on the acoustic first half of the set each night. I hope Cat Power's set becomes available to listen to afterwards somewhere as I'd love to hear it.
