Despite the English sentence communicating indirectly by way of thanking, the Japanese one seems more direct, telling you to wear your mask while talking.

This will be the last entry from the business trip from the 26th to 28th last month.

After the seminar meeting that lasted for three days, I went to a nearby cafe and then walked around Inokashira Park. Afterwards I headed for Tokyo Station and met one of my friends. I got on Shinkansen for home late in the evening.
I wanted to stay in Tokyo more; I’ve never felt like that in my life.
