Omiya Ardija

My friend is a big Omiya Ardija fan so he grabbed some tickets for the home game against last year's J-league champions Hiroshima Sanfrecce. That's two J-league games in as many months and the first time I've been to a stadium that has standing areas.

It was a great game but there was a big injury when an Omiya forward collided with Hiroshima's keeper resulting in them both getting knocked out and the game being suspended for 30 minutes until they could get an ambulance on the pitch. Then with great dramatic timing a big thunderstorm blew through as the game restarted making for a nervous finish. If every game at Omiya is like this I'm in!
