1900s Boots the Chemist

The job at the bottom of the list today was to clear out the old stationary cupboard we brought with us from two house moves ago.
When we lived in Old Warden, the "gardens" were established over a long period of years and the bank at the side was very overgrown. On one occasion (30-40 years ago) this old pot lid was dug up and I’ve kept it ever since. For a long time on a windowsill in a barn, and when we moved it was popped into the stationary cupboard where it has been ever since.
As best I can tell, it’s from about 1900/1920 and quite probably from a Victorian ironstone lidded bottle.
Anyway, I cleared out the cupboard, but kept the lid of course and put it back there.
