A Day In The Life

Marching Along

With leaves disappearing from all of the trees I’m now able to see my feathered friends when they visit. There are lots of white-breasted nuthatches and chickadees around, with several tufted titmice, goldfinches and juncos, too. It seems the white-throated sparrows have moved on • We’ve been busy bees today getting the desk that we recently moved set up, plus moving a few other pieces of furniture that we no longer want from upstairs to the curb for anyone who wants them. “Free” is usually a good way to get rid of stuff, and a win-win for both us and the new owners • Today was a fun and challenging practice day, playing “When The Saints Go Marching In” over and over and over. The song uses the four chords I know plus a new strumming pattern. Even MrsP joined in singing a couple of choruses with Bert :) • Oh, and if you’re wondering how we got the furniture out to the curb…our proven drag on a tarp down the hill to the front yard across the driveway :) Where there’s a will, there’s a way • Enjoy your evening!
