St Peters

A lovely sunny day, I had some things to do around the house but early afternoon I needed to get out in that sunshine.

About twenty minutes away from home is the church of St Peter in Bullinghope, on the edge of Hereford Town. Although a listed building, it's fairly modern and built to replace an older one nearby that was in disrepair.

To the right of the front door is the grave of Paul Mcaleese who was killed aged 29, in 2009, trying to rescue a colleague involved in an incendiary bomb (Afghanistan). His famous dad, John, died of a broken heart a couple of years later.
