Every Picture Tells a Story

I'm not sure whether this is so much silly as ludicrous but it will do for this month's Silly Saturday in memory of Admirer and hosted by pipersmom.

Today the Rhododendron Festival returned after a two year covid hiatus. It was an enormous success, albeit smaller than in the past. The lovely weather didn't hurt..
The Rotary Club held their usual sausage sizzle and also sold the waratahs we picked yesterday.  Every waratah was sold by 1pm.
But this group took the cake. They enthusiastically gathered up armfuls and took turns posing in groups of three while the others took their pictures. Finally, as I hovered nearby to take their money, they plonked all the flowers back in the buckets and departed!!!

This evening we attended a wonderful dinner and performance by tenor, Brad Cooper. He is going to sing at the conference the Blackheath club is organising next year. It was a real treat to hear him in such a small venue with only 40-50 people. I just loved it.
