A wonderful evening at the India Society celebrating Diwali with a host of child dancers. I've taught about 50% of them over the years, including every delightful young lady in this photograph. It was what the Japanese call a natsukashii evening, and a delight to see what charming people those children have grown up to become.

Things may look bleak, but "things are not what they seem."
