After the noise

On my way in from work and in the evening back from work, I pass the pet farm in the park, and the deer. Last sunday they had to hide, there was the yearly "Liberation Pop" festival with deafening sound and thousands of people. I asked the animal keeper once, how the deer with their sensitive ears cope with that, and she said they deal with it quite well. Retreat when they see the tents being erected and come back once it's over. Amazing what we all get used to.
