Rainy day reading

I was trying to read. But my book was on a book stand and my cat Pickle was lying in a patch of sun on the table. So I couldn’t read!

It rained all day, apart from very small ‘sunny intervals’. The weather people keep saying it’s ‘mild’ but I’ve felt cold all day. Rain makes it feel colder.

My cat Pickle won’t talk to me about what she’s been reading.
