Storm Theatre

Wow. The first theatrical weather day as an overture to winter. It opened with grey skies and a strong blustery wind and the rain, when it arrived late morning, fell in curtains. Once the scene was set, thunder entered with a boom in the heavens like some pantomime giant that makes the house jump and audience cry 'he's behind you' when a burst of lightning lit the sky.  Get the picture?  cos the photo really doesn't do the performance justice.

It's 1.45am now and I am ready for bed after another day's sewing (see yesterday) but although wind has died, the storm is not over and the rain is still cascading down while the thunder and lightning are making their encore.

At least there aren't any mosquitoes tonight. Every cloud ....
