An hour earlier

...than last night, for the tonight's sunset. It was a pretty one, with bands of pink through a complete wide circle of clouds - we turned around slowly in the driveway looking up at it in all directions. 

Earlier this afternoon a cake was baked. Assembling the dry ingredients - the oatmeal, brown sugar, walnuts, baking powder, almond flour, etc - was a little like making a sandcastle (extra). Isabelle and I have now polished off much of it while finishing the latest series of Shetland.

It's been a great weekend and I hope for you all as well.
