Going, going, nearly gone!

The beautiful acer outside my husband’s study window is fast losing its colourful leaves, which is such a shame. However, there are still plenty of roses in the garden, which will give us a lot of pleasure for some time to come.

It’s been a day of getting back to normal again, putting away lots of items I’d taken with me to the church sale, catching up on paperwork and laundry, not to mention catching my breath as well.

I mustn’t get too relaxed, though, because I now have one or two large Christmas card orders to fulfill … after which, of course, it’s back to battling the dreaded moths!
