Nature's Heart

I've always loved Northern Flickers, from the way they scuff through the grass looking for insects, to their striking feather pattern.  Today I spotted a male in a tree eating berries (in extras).  I didn't intend to get a photo of the back of his head, but once I saw that stunning heart, I knew it had to be my blip for the day.
